Scholarship for Benedictine students

The Pontifical University of Sant’Anselmo announces scholarships for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd cycles for all faculties. Furthermore, we offer scholarships for the Doctorate in Sacred Liturgy; one is awarded to a Benedictine student of merit from a country in the developing world, and one to a non-Benedictine student from a country in the developing world. The scholarship is granted for a period of two or three years and covers the academic fees and room and board in structures related to the University. The letter of the superior must indicate:

  • name of the candidate and brief curriculum vitae;
  • the faculty and cycle you have chosen;
  • photocopies of documents showing details of your education (high school, any university degrees);
  • photocopy of a photo ID;
  • motivation of the request.

Sant’Anselmo will make the final decision on the award of the scholarship only after receiving all of the documentation.
We will not consider applications submitted after the deadline or with incomplete documentation.

Mini grants

The Pontifical University of Sant’Anselmo announces mini scholarships for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd cycles to students of merit and need.
The scholarship is intended exclusively for the payment of academic fees, amounting to no more than 20% of the total planned cost. This is a partial scholarship and does not include the costs of room and board. The application must be sent to Rettore Magnifico This email address is being protected from spambots. The letter must indicate:

  • Your full name
  • A short version of your curriculum vitae
  • The faculty and cycle you have chosen

Mini grants: License in History of Theology

The Foundation Dídomi announces mini scholarships for the II Cycle of the License in History of Theology.
The scholarship is intended exclusively for the payment of academic fees and the following are distributed:

  • € 500.00 for lay people;
  • € 300.00 for religious;
  • € 200.00 for priests.

Scholarship of Abbot Notker Wolf: Liturgical Music

The Pontifical University of Sant’Anselmo announces scholarships for merit for lay, diocesan and religious students that partially cover the academic fees for the Course in Liturgical Music.
Scholarships are intended solely for the payment of academic fees and are distributed as follows:

  • 3 full scholarships;
  • 3 scholarships with partial coverage.

  • photocopies of documents proving completed studies (Baccalaureate or equivalent degree)

Applications submitted after the deadline or with incomplete documentation will not be taken into consideration.

Scholarship for the Doctorate: Sacred Liturgy

The Pontifical Athenaeum Sant’Anselmo announces a scholarship due to a student of a developing nation.
The scholarship is granted for a period of two years and covers academic fees and the cost of boarding at the Collegio Sant’Anselmo.
The application must be sent to Rettore Magnifico.
Deadline: 31 January 2021 The letter must indicate:

  • Candidate’s name and brief curriculum vitae
  • Photocopies of documents proving completed studies (License in Sacred Liturgy)
  • Photocopy of an identity document
  • A letter of recommendation from the superior.

The final decision on granting the scholarship will be made only after the complete acquisition of this documentation.
Applications submitted after the deadline or with incomplete documentation will not be taken into consideration.

The scholarship application forms granted by “The Papal Foundation” are available at the Rector’s Office.
