The courses will be held online, live, in the morning (at 10 o'clock italian hour); you will be able to receive the recorded lesson to watch and listen to later. A different course will be taught on each day of the week. Along with the lecture and reading material, access to a digital bibliography of texts will be provided as support for the participant and as further study.
Several people will be able to join with a single enrolment. Scholarships will be provided to cover all costs.
The course starts on Monday 3 March 2025. at 10:00 am Rome time and lasts 5 weeks.

From 7 March to 4 April 2022 (15.30-17.15)
In the month of March there will be another month of intensive Monastic Studies in English.
It will last the whole month, with the same modality as last August.
Starting with the first Monday in March, each day of the week there will be a different course (5 in total) and each course will last 5 weeks: 7, 14, 21, 28 March, 4 April 2022.
The registered classes will be available on the same day, so that you can follow them when you are not able to be present live. The classes will take place every day from 10-12 am.

1. Liturgical Spirituality II
2. The great monastic models I: from Anthony Abbot to St. Benedict (and Gregory the Great): their spirituality and theology.
3. Up a ladder down – Humility in the Rule of St Benedict (RB c. 7)
4. "The first monks of the Desert: the masters of formation".
5. "Usque ad mortem in monasterio perseverantes ... ut et regno eius mereamur esse consortes" (Prologue 50): The Monastic stability.

25 ans... Mémoire vive !
Au mois de mai 1996, nous apprenions la mort tragique des sept frères de Tibhirine après des semaines de captivité. Béatifiés à Oran avec douze autres martyrs d’Algérie, ils nous offrent, à travers leurs écrits, et éclairés par les témoignages de ceux qui les ont connus, une source vive pour la théologie et la spiritualité d’aujourd’hui.
Suite à la rencontre de Paris (2018) et au colloque de Fribourg (2019), un colloque international pour marquer ces 25 ans aimerait rassembler les témoignages de ceux qui les ont connus, et les contributions de ceux qui en reçoivent aujourd’hui des impulsions théologiques, spirituelles et pastorales.
Par une première journée réservée aux étudiants, ce colloque aimerait sensibiliser la communauté scientifique à cet héritage spirituel et susciter des travaux universitaires. La seconde journée, ouverte à un public plus large, souhaiterait mieux faire connaître l’expérience vécue par ces moines, et contribuer au rayonnement de leur message par la traduction de leurs écrits en italien et le lancement prochain d’une nouvelle collection dédiée.
Organisé par l’Association pour la protection des écrits des sept de l’Atlas et le Comité scientifique des Écrits de Tibhirine, en collaboration avec l’Anselmianum (Rome), et avec le concours financier de la Fondation des Monastères, ce colloque est placé sous le haut patronage du Conseil Pontifical pour le dialogue interreligieux.

Il 28 giugno 2012 è stata firmata l’intesa tra il Ministero dell’Istruzione e della Ricerca (MIUR) e il Presidente della Conferenza Episcopale Italiana (CEI), aggiornata dal DM n. 70 del 24 Luglio 2020 con l'All2 Elenco-discipline-e-Facoltà-per l’IRC-2017, riguardante i profili di qualificazione professionale degli insegnanti di religione cattolica.
A seguito di tale intesa si informano gli studenti della Facoltà di Teologia che, per ottenere l’abilitazione all’Insegnamento della Religione Cattolica (IRC), occorre integrare i piani di studio con alcuni corsi specifici di qualificazione: Teorie della scuola e Legislazione scolastica, Metodologia dell’educazione, Didattica dell’IRC, Tirocinio dell’IRC.
Tali discipline sono offerte dalla Pontificia Facoltà di Scienze dell’Educazione “Auxilium”. Si invitano gli studenti interessati a contattare direttamente l’Auxilium per informazioni su orari e costi degli insegnamenti.
