The highly specialized program in Liturgy is a proposal for ongoing formation for priests in the Czech Republic.
For priests who work in pastoral care, it offers an in-depth three-year study, inspired by the Pontifical Institute of Liturgy (=PIL) study plan for a Licentiate in Liturgy. Lessons in Prague and Rome are held by PIL professors and PIL alumni - professors of the Faculty of Catholic Theology of the Charles University of Prague.
The Faculty of Catholic Theology is one of the faculties of the Charles University of Prague, Czech Republic, founded in 1348 by Emperor Charles IV of Luxembourg. The Faculty is regulated by civil law and common canon law, in accordance with the norms established in the Apostolic Constitution Veritatis Gaudium. It offers baccalaureate, master's and doctorate programs in Theology, History of Art and History of European Culture.
